Budget $1500-1800 (Canadian Dollars) TRY using TigerDirect.ca or any Canadian main site , only one i know of is TigerDirect.

System is meant for cs 1.6 and CS/DoD : Source ( will like to have 80-100fps at least in Source Games)

I already made a thread and i just found out some of those things are not compatible , so im going to need help from you guys.

My CPU im using for sure is Intel Pentium D 930 Dual core 3.0 GHz
And i want to use a Nvidia Gfx Card not ATI.
The Case i want to use is Aspire X-Discovery Black ATX Mid-Tower (w/o a Power Supply)
These are the things I'd like to use, but if you guys think otherwise let me know.

Im going to need a Motherboard , HDD(200+) , RAM(1GB+) , DVD Burner , CD Drive , Monitor(has to have under 6ms) , Power Supply , SoundCard (do i even need one ?) and if im missing anything not listed please feel free to list , and again im not to good with all this Computer Terms etc. so im going to need your help.

THX ALOT 4 THE HELP

Are you sure that you're going to get an intel based computer? AMD is a whole lot better if your going gaming. Intel chips were meant more for intensive tasks or a lot of multitasking... So unless you plan on those, I suggest goingn for AMD

well , if i go AMD i wouldnt know where to start whats good ????? is there dual core like PD etc..... i need help im trying to get this comp ready soon so im going to need to give him the specs for atleast tomorrow. TY

The dual-core AMD is known as the AMD X2. The lowest model is the X2 3800+. and that retails for around $300 USD. I have a PD 930, and it does pretty good in games, especially for the price (~$200 USD).

But may i ask why you wont go with ATI?

prefrence i guess i like Nvidia , nothing against ATI .... and how does the PD run , in source games whats your FPS is it smooth etc... or do you recommend AMD ???

can ne1 help me make a rig plzzz
