Need Help planning to build a gaming rig 2000-2500AUS?

I want to build myself a gaming rig but dont know what to buy?
Any suggestions?
My budget is around 2000-2500AUS
Planing to get a Xaser V1, anyone who reviewed this case let me know about it?
No watercooling, plan to buy a quality power supply.

$2000-$2500? That's quite a bit of cash to blow. Start with an E8600 and go from there. I'll post more later.
 
a really good case to build around is the antec 1200, this is the case that for two hundred us dollars will set you up to put anything in
