I want to burn a file I've created with Video editor that I'm getting familiar with - to a DVD so I can delete it off my HDD - and DVR Cable Box. At the moment - I've hit a stump in using the Video Editor to actually create a DVD - but I've got the final video rendered to MPG format.
If I want to use a separate software to burn the disk to a DVD-R - will mpg format work - and play in a standard DVD Player - or do I need to convert the file to some other format and then burn it to DVD.
I do have a video converter to change the format if that is necessary. I need to get this done before I need to re-install Windows 7 when my RC starts shutting down PC every 2 hours.
