So I've kinda scoured the internet and haven't been able to identify what they are let alone price them to sell them. I have two different parts hopefully the pictures are enough for someone to tell me what they are and what they might be worth because i have a TON of them most of them factory wrapped and the rest haven't been touched but the bags have been opened. Please help.

There are 6 links to six pictures, the first 3 are for one part and the last 3 are for the other.

It seems like a hard drive part. The first at least it the portion of the drive where you plug the SATA and power cables. I have no idea what the second one is though...

Although that seems like an adapter.

Mmh I'm confused. It's like it has the same connectors on both sides.

Ok I found what the first one is. It´s some sort of extender, that protects the SATA connectors apparently. Maybe it´s meant for drives that are plugged and un-plugged often, and if some damage should result, the Drive would not be damaged.

The fact that both connect to each other is just because they are both for the same kind of devices. I don´t think they are ment to do that. I have no idea what the second item is though. If I had to guess I´d say they are the same thing with different shapes. Could you include a couple more pictures from different angles?

Oh man I understand what they are but I do not see what they are for... Both have as in and out the SATA cables and power connectors for Drives. I´ll try to draw it.

Maybe is for unconfortable drive bays and helps you plug the connectors easier.

That is one confusing diagram bro.

Seriously? Looks ok to me. It came to a point that I didn´t know how to call the things in the components where you plug the cables (is it plugs, connectors, something else?) that I just gave up and wrote "SATA" and "power" :p

No, the exact model as posted by the OP has the IOSafe branding on it. Guess what iosafe makes? Oh that's right, NAS enclosures.

What does NAS enclosures have? Sata extenders among other things.

So they are SATA extenders...

Edit: It's like someone posting pictures of tires, and you say "those look like parts of a car". What you use it for is irrelevant.

And they were parts inside a NAS enclosure. Your subsequent denial of the fact that these were used in a NAS enclosure suggests that you
  1. don't know enough to figure out what it came out of
  2. are purposely attempting to "correct" something that wasn't wrong.

What is important is that where it came from is irrelevant. What matters is what it does. Your comment provides no help. And those extenders can be used for multiple things, not just NAS enclosures. Your comment is too vague to be helpful. Just like the tire example.

They seem kind of like hot swap drive bay pieces. I'd say the value for reselling would be extremely low

Also, we can stop being off topic douchers any time now.

^That.

I don't think you can get much out of it. I don't see many people asking for those :p

At least we know what they are now.
