Need help in Building computer!

I want to build a PC so i search the net for parts but i cant decide on because i don't know the performance of the selected part. Im a newbie at computer hardware because I've been focusing on computer software and I seldom have time to search for nice parts for building a computer. I need you help! I'm planning to build a gaming computer that can handle large amount of memory.A gaming computer.I'm not a gamer but i just want my computer to work fast without the lag thing.:D
I need sites that can compare computer parts.What is best and what is more cheaper but can handle a large amount of memory.

Would this build can handle HEAVY graphics and can run fast even if another program is doing something?
Well i really don't know because its my first build and I'm still new to hardware than software.
