Need help in buying a tablet!

Hey all, I'm looking for a good android tablet for my father and I don't want to spend more than $300. I referred this guide - https://tabletunderbudget.com/best-tablets-for-seniors-elderly and they recommended me LG Gpad 2. Shall I go for it? Is it really a worth buying tablet? Need your suggestions. I want good value for money.

Mmmh that site seems pretty strange. I mean I get the S.O.S. bussiness but seems a little excessive to choose a tablet just for that. Unless you are really interested in those features, I would just follow something like this:

Well, he's not a kind of heavy user, just some normal tasks like reading, video-calling and youtube.
I think the Nexus 9 would go out of budget, thanks for recommendation though.

What I can tell you is the same you can read on any random review online. I mean I've only used 4 different tablets in my life and other than "it's ok" and "it stinks", there is not much else I can help you with.

Never used that one. Read a couple if reviews and try to determine if its worth it or not. Seems to be on the Cnet list so it can't be bad.

Edit: The Hawei MediaPad M3 looks pretty good too.

I mean yeah...if you bought it new, because it's not manufactured anymore.

You could always go with an nVidia Shield.
