Need help INSTANTLY !!!

I just put on a new cooler on my E6750 and now I tried installing windows since it was a new computer. It loaded the setup, then it said "Setup is now loading Windows" and all of a sudden the computer shut itself down. I tried restarting, same thing happened. Could it be that my processor has overheated ? :OOO
 
yes it could have overheated read the temp from bios
try removing and replacing the hsf
did you use thermal paste?
 
I used the one that was already on the cooler, there was some applied.
The fan is not in place as tight as i thought it would be, maybe i just need to fix that.
Also, how do i read the temp in BIOS ?

the cooler should be mega tight onto the cpu, once it is clipped on it shouldnt move at AL not even a mm
look around the bois there will be something that will tell you the temp, it varies from bios to bios
 
Ok I found the temp and i tightend up the fan.
Now I have a CPU Temp of 25°C on startup.
Is that good ?
