Need help, just built a new comp..

No XP cd. Yes, I can boot into safe mode/ also BIOS

Did you try uninstalling all the drivers and reinstalling them?

That's the only way I've heard you can get a previously installed version of Windows to work in another pc.

No no no, that's not how you "uninstall" anything. Bad bad bad.

Boot into safe mode and open your control panel and uninstall the motherboard drivers, then reinstall the right ones. Get the right ones first.

Sorry im not thinking straight, I didnt mean to say that at all. Ive just been starring at this BSOD and Safe mode for hours, today and yesterday. Ill try that tomorrow, if that doesn't work, im getting Win 7 some how and a new HDD.

Problem fixed. Im running Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit now =] Very happy and its clean!
