This is my build:

Asus p8z77-v pro
i5 3570k
GTX 680 FTW+ 4GB
NZXT Phantom Full Tower (I think the case fans are connected to the PSU since the Motherboard doesn't detect them)
2x4gb Corsair Vengeance RAM
Samsung 830 128gb SSD
WD Caviar Black 1TB
Asus DVD Drive
Corsair 850W Gold PSU

I have everything on Stock. Also using Stock CPU fan.

I just ran Prime95 with my CPU fan running at 100% and had 1 core shoot up to 82 C and one shoot up to 89 C right away. I need some major help. What should i do? What's wrong with my PC :( ? It can't just be the stock fan right? Even at 100% it shouldn't be running at 82 - 89 C right?

I also just checked the voltage on the CPU and it seems to be around 1.220v. Also my Corsair Vengeance RAM is running at around 1854mhz. Is that normal? Also, when i check AI Suite II it shows my Vcore for the CPU as 0.976v. What should i do?

Is my asus motherboard overvolting? Thanks for any help.

I'd say on stock cooling that just over 80C is pretty normal for full load temperatures.

How often is your CPU going to be running at full load though?

If you bought 1866MHz RAM then yeah your RAM speed is normal.

I linked the ram. It's 1600 i think. Also, are the voltages i am correct for stock? 3.4ghz i5 3570k?

Looks like your RAM has been overclocked, don't worry about that though - shouldn't affect CPU temperatures.

I'm not sure with what the stock voltages are for a 3570K but unless you've fiddled with voltages in the BIOS or in AI Suite, those will be the stock voltages, and they will likely fluctuate.

So i should leave the voltage on "auto" in the BIOS?

Yes, don't change anything unless you want to overclock which on the stock cooler I would really advise against.

Maybe change your cpu cooler i am using nearly same build as yours... But with smaller mid tower case and with hyper 212 cpu cooler...

I am no expert but at least i can tell you that my cpu 3570k is over clocked to 4.1 ghz and when stress tested it rose to 70ish...so i think its ur cpu cooler or thermal paste...

Go into your bios and just reset all your setting to default if you think something is strange but def look into after market coolers... Its worth every cent as the new intel i series comes with horrible thermal paste oh and check if ur thermal paste is applied correctly cause thermal paste can make all the difference.....

After market coolers like hyper 212 costs 30bux and as low as 20 on sale i think its a good investment for i5 even if u dont oc.... Cause my cpu sits around 50 when stress tested at stock setting...

hope this helps a bit xD
