Hey Guys,I need a new Gaming PC for Christmas.
Can anyone help me on building one?I don't know which parts to get.
I want to be able to play most games on High to Ultra.
I don't need a HDD or Windows copy,Just GPU,Mobo,CPU,RAM

Tough to get a build that plays the newest games on max for that budget.

What games do you play currently or want to play?

Skyrim,Diablo,BF3,Deus EX.
Cyber Monday is coming Up,Hopefully Newegg will have more deals.
Don't need a monitor either.

BF3 is highly dependant on the GPU. You will need a fairly high card to max it and a 2500k CPU.

Those alone just about take up your budget:

CPU-- $225.00

GPU-- $250.00

As I dont play BF3... Im not even sure if the 560ti will max it or not.

You can go with an AMD chip and save some money as well, but someone else needs to spec that system for you. I do not have much knowledge on AMD.

I know there are cheaper cards that can play it on medium settings... just not sure about maxing it out. A 560ti should get you around 30fps on ultra, so much less of a card and I dont think it will be playable.

Alright,How bout a Motherboard?Which one should I get?

the intels are better, but a 960t can max it out, and be overclocked a good bit too help there, really you won't notice much of a difference in game, and you are talking about at 1080p right, and the monitor is 1080p also, just to make sure.

Yeah.You sure?
Intel i5 2500K seems like a good choice.

the 2500k is no doubt better, but the 960t and 965 are still good cpus. if a 2500k meant a lower end gpu i'd take the 960t/965 every time.

Agreed with Jonnyp here... 2500k is a better CPU and the choice for most gamers.
