Need help. Malware, spyware, pop-ups, etc.

I've been getting a lot of warnings, especially from bogus anti-malware and anti-spware scams saying I need to buy their stuff to get rid of my "problem."
Most of the stuff I get is just pop-ups, but some of it slows my computer down. I have the newest Norton Antivirus, Ad-Aware SE personal AND Spybot - Search & Destroy... none of them seem to help. I did the Hijackthis logfile and saved it, so if anyone with more knowledge than me on this topic feels like it, please look it over and let me know if you can help me. Another thing I'd like to add, is that I seem to have a lot of stuff that loads when I start my computer. Like LOTS of stuff running in the background. Needless crap I never opened or wanted there to begin with. Here's my log. And thanks for any help in advance.

Your computer has been infected by spyware. I always use adaware + ewido to get rid of spyware and it always worked. Try to check your startup folder
and delete anything suspicious.
 
This may sound a bit stupid, but just to make sure I do this right... where is the startup folder you are talking about?
 
Click start, then go run, once that loads select 'msconfig' when box loads select 'Startup' then everything in that box that is ticked is what will load on your pc's startup.
 
Download SmitfraudFix (by S!Ri) http://siri.urz.free.fr/Fix/SmitfraudFix.zip to your Desktop.
Extract all the files to your Destop. A folder named SmitfraudFix will be created on your Desktop.


Open the SmitfraudFix folder and double-click smitfraudfix.cmd
Select option #1 - Search by typing 1 and press Enter
This program will scan large amounts of files on your computer for known patterns so please be patient while it works. When it is done, the results of the scan will be displayed and it will create a log named rapport.txt in the root of your drive, eg: Local Disk C: or partition where your operating system is installed. Post a copy of this log.

Yeah I've used msconfig before, thats how I found out how much crap I have running... but I need to know how to get rid of a lot of that crap... and what to get rid of and what to keep. I'm "good" with computers, but I dont know enough to know what should be there and what shouldnt. Thanks for your responses so far, I appreciate them. I'll try some of these things out.

Maybe I can do a screen shot and people can see how much junk is really there and maybe tell me what to lose and what to keep. Will this help? Or even just list them all off?

Update.... I cant get that SmitfraudFix to work. Here's the error message I get in the Command screen:

Extract (unzip) the content (a folder named SmitfraudFix) to your Desktop. This is imperative for the tool to function properly. If using a utility such as winzip you will have to direct it there as it will not unzip to the desktop by default. The desination location should look like this (C: being your primary drive): C:\Documents and Settings\User\Desktop\SmitfraudFix

Open the SmitfraudFix folder and double-click smitfraudfix.cmd
Select option #1 - Search by typing 1 and press "Enter"; a text file will appear, which lists infected files (if present).
Post that log.

Go to 'Control Panel/folder options/view' and check 'show hidden files and folders'.While there, UNCHECK 'hide protected operating system files(recommended)'. Click Apply and Okay.

Proceed to ADD/REMOVE Programs and uninstall any entries containing - Viewpoint. Also this- MorpheusBar.

Download Ewido http://www.ewido.net/en/download/ then set it up this way http://rstones12.geekstogo.com/ewidosetup.htm You will need this later in safe mode
Make sure to update this program.
Download ATF-Cleaner to your desktop from this link
http://www.atribune.org/content/view/19/2/ You will need it later in safe mode.

You have HijackThis installed in a temp folder which is a no-no. Create a folder such as C/Program Files/ HijackThis and install it there.

Reboot your computer in Safe Mode by doing the following.

After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, tap the F8 key continually;

Instead of Windows loading as normal, a menu with options should appear;

Select the first option, to run Windows in Safe Mode, then press "Enter".

Choose your usual account.

Please make sure ALL security programs including Norton, Ewido, Spybot, etc are disabled until they are needed. They will interfere with the cleaning process.

Run Smitfraud

* Open the SmitfraudFix Folder, then double-click smitfraudfix.cmd file to start the tool.
* Select option #2 - Clean by typing 2 and press Enter.
* Wait for the tool to complete and disk cleanup to finish.
* You will be prompted : "Registry cleaning - Do you want to clean the registry ?" answer Yes by typing Y and hit Enter.
* The tool will also check if wininet.dll is infected. If a clean version is found, you will be prompted to replace wininet.dll. Answer Yes to the question "Replace infected file ?" by typing Y and hit Enter.

A reboot may be needed to finish the cleaning process, if you computer does not restart automatically please do it yourself manually. Reboot in Safe Mode.

From safemode, run HijackThis and put a check by the following entries if still present, close all open windows and browsers except HijackThis and click 'Fix Checked'

Navigate to the following folders and delete if still present.

C:\Program Files\Viewpoint
C:\Program Files\MorpheusBar
C:\Program Files\AntivirusGolden
C:\Program Files\SpyHeal
C:\Program Files\VideosCodec
C:\Program Files\VirusBurster
C:\Program Files\Media-Codec

Run Ewido- make sure of the following settings.

Select the "Scanner" icon at the top of the screen, then select the "Settings" tab.
Once in the Settings screen click on "Recommended actions" and then select "Quarantine".
Under "Reports"

Select "Automatically generate report after every scan"
Un-Select "Only if threats were found"

Run ATF-Cleaner from safe mode.Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Under Main choose: Select All
Click the Empty Selected button.
If you use firefox also, select at top of ATF cleaner-tick Select all and run again.

Reboot into normal windows, run ATF cleaner again, empty the recycle bin and post a fresh 'HJT' log. Please also post the Ewido and SmitFraud scan log that you ran in safemode.
