NEED HELP, Motherboard FP_AUDIO Problems!

I just a got a new ASUS motherboard and when I installed it and got it all ready I forgot to add in the FP_AUDIO pins (which consist of MIC-IN, MIC-POWER, GROUND, L-OUT, R-OUT and etc.). When I found out that my MIC wasn't working I turned it off and put all the pins where they were supposed to be. I started up the computer again and the MIC still wouldn't work. I've tried about 4 different combinations to how which text should face what and etc and its the same outcome. I got my case manual right here and I put it in exactly where it tells me to put it into.

Anyways please help!

This is what the case manual says and it worked on my previous motherboard:

BLINE_OUT_L (L-RET) [][] LINE OUT_L (L-OUT)

NOTHING [] NC (there is no plug)

BLINE_OUT_R (R-RET) [][] LINE OUT_R (R-OUT)

+5VA (got no plug) [][] MICPWR (MIC-POWER)

AGND (GROUND) [][] MIC2 (MIC-IN)

What is wrong? Before I even plugged these in, the sound worked but I put all these in for the microphone to work and it still doesn't.

Bad Bord?

i dont know if this makes sence, but maybe when you pluged in the ports you shorted them out some how by pluging them in wrong. Id contact ASUS and find out why its not working. Is your sound working? Do you have the correct drivers installed?

Contact ASUS they might be able to help ya a little better. :) :o

Did you also enable the onboard audio? Check the mic to see if the mic works? Plug the mic in the right jack?
