Do you have internet access on the old computer with the files? If you do, and the files arent too large, you could email the files to yourself from the old computer. Than go to your email on your new computer and retrive the files.

All you needed was a Cat5e cable (ethernet to ethernet) and hook both of them up to each other. It took me about 10 - 15 minutes to network them with Microsoft's Network Wizard ...

But anyway, glad that she got the project on paper anyway

Then burn via the new comp and bring the CDs upstairs....
