hey guys, it's been a long time since i've frequented this forum but i know you are the peoples to go to...
i've been outta the computer tech for quite a while and am not sure on what is the best bang for the buck anymore, so i would like help in building a decent gaming rig mostly for some starcraft 2 but maybe other games in the future... i found this form on a different website and will use it as a basis, hopefully it works...
Approximate Purchase Date: within 2-4 weeks
Budget Range: 500-700 (USD)
System Usage from Most to Least Important: as stated, SC2/gaming and possibly some HTPC duties
Parts Not Required: keyboard, speakers, monitor, HDD, OS
Preferred Website(s) for Parts: newegg.com
Country of Origin: USA
Parts Preferences: i'd prefer an intel cpu, but am open to amd
Overclocking: No
SLI or Crossfire: No
Monitor Resolution: the one i'm buying does up to 1080p (1920x1080)
Additional Comments: doesn't need to be flashy, but would like decent cooling and i want to be able to run SC2 on ultra or high settings without a hiccup if possible
as i said before, any help would be appreciated... thanks in advance ...
