Alright so, This happen after I got the patch for CoD: WaW:
I downloaded the patch and applied it yesterday night at 10:00 pm (I just got CoD: WaW for X-Mas
). So I downloaded it and The game was working fine like normal. Could play Online, Pwn noobs, good stuff for like an hour.
It was 11:00 pm and the family wanted me to be with them, so I left off and celebrated X-Mas. The next day I logged on and wanted to surf the Internets and something strange happen. I was looking though the internet like normal when suddenly it stopped. I was watching a normal YouTube Video and it stopped. I thought it was my Internet at first, Ya know lagging, so I wanted to close out of the Internet.
It didnt. My Page just froze, I didnt move, I couldn't exit out or nothing. I tried to Ctrl+Alt+Delete and bring up Task Manager but even that didnt come up immediately. I waited 5 minuted before my system finally came back to normal and I got my Webpage working again and Task Manager to come up.
About 45 minutes later, I was running WoW and a website together at the same time. I normally do this and it never caused me a problem. But again, My internet froze on me AND WoW froze on me too. I again tried to Ctrl+Alt+Delete my way out but it didnt work. 5 Minutes later it moved again, but it had me worried really. I didnt know what was going on. So I did a system restore on my computer and tried to restore it back to the time I just got done DLing the CoD Patch.
It didnt work. It stayed at the system restore for about... Say 50 Minutes? It would normally take maybe 10 minutes at the most to do a System restore for me. I grew tired of waiting and I turned off my computer. Once I started back up I did a system restore again, but this time I went and did the last thing Before I downloaded the CoD patch. So far it worked. So I think it maybe the patch. Or it maybe me?
Can anyone tell me what happened to my computer? I would greatly appreciate this!
