Hey guys im new around here, and new to building computers.
I wanna build a comp for my parents, budget is around $500-600.
They usually just watch movies on there, so im guessing i don't need too powerful of a system. If any of you guys could tell me what would be some great system for that budget would be really great.

Thanks!

Since your new to building have you thought about looking into a halfway decent barebone kit?
A barebone kit is a great place to start in my opinion, you know everything is compatible at least. Then you can study your components
and pick your own parts next build.
the nVidia GeForce kit comes with a decent XFX 9800GT GPU that would be perfect for video playback (as long as it's not HD or anything)

couldn't find it at newegg but here it is at tigerdirect :

I guess since their their into their movies you could get a blue ray drive, I still can't believe the picture quality in blue ray so much better than normal DVDs
