here how does this sound. the best video card on the 6000 is the x300. the x300 desktop card is basically the pci-e version of the 9600. the geforce go 6800 however has 12 parallel pixel pipelines and 220M transistors. it is the desktop 6600gt to put into perspective. i was able to make it lower than your price specified.

hey thanks and if you have any better laptops for gamming in mind then the dell one plz reply.

the only better laptop video cards off of my head is the geforce go 6800 ultra and the ati radeon mobility x800. however i do not see the x800 much in the market.

alanuofm's first post with the laylout of that dell was good but for a little more, still under budget u should be able to upgrade to a gig of ram. That will work nicely with that nice video card for gaming.

what about buying the one in my sig? not from me, but from a company...

apparently he wants a gaming laptop with close to zero lag and no frame drops. a 9600 will hardly do that.

i havent had problems with lag ever

what games are you playing? in CS 1.6 throw a smoke grenade and see what your frames drop to. i have a 128 mb radeon 9700 and it drops 60fps. to view your fps type net_graph 3

heres a little bit cheaper model. basically the same specs with a faster hard drive, but a geforce 6800 go and not the ultra. will not make a huge difference.
