I need a new computer but I only have $400 to spend on it. I already have a monitor and a case and a 600W Corsair PSU, I also have a mouse and a keyboard.

Can someone put up a decent build that will run minecraft at a decent fps.

CPU: AMD A8-3870K 3.0GHz Quad-Core Processor ($109.98 @ NCIX US)
Motherboard: ASRock A55 PRO3 ATX FM1 Motherboard ($74.99 @ Amazon)
Memory: Kingston HyperX 4GB (1 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory ($24.74 @ Amazon)
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 500GB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($49.99 @ NCIX US)
Optical Drive: Lite-On iHAS224-06 DVD/CD Writer ($18.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 (64-bit) ($90.70 @ Amazon)
Total: $369.39

APU's benefit quite a bit from higher frequency RAM, so that's why I picked the 1866MHz RAM.

This build uses an AMD Processor with integrated graphics.

go for 8gb 1333mhz...
rest is good, you'll not get very much with 400$. But with this build, you can still get a gpu later

If you read my post then you'd know why I picked the 1866MHz.

Can I ask you a question? Why is it that you and the user that started this thread Randome have the same IP address? You also share that IP address with another user named _controlling.

I don't share the same IP as randome, check again. Also, Controlling is my brother.

huh, yeah you do. Our system logs what IP address you have registered your account with. Both of you have registered your accounts with the same IP address.
