I am overclocking to 3.5 here are the settings. Have I set everything right? Should I increase or decrease any of the voltage? Should I Set Load-Line calibration? Should I disable Bi-Directional PROCHOT. Is my QPI link Speed Safe. Is my Uncore Clock Ratio correct at 2 x System Memory Multiplier +1 =13 or am I getting this formula wrong. As far as my memory should I tighten it up and to what? I’m a noob.
Thanks for all your input.

for a newb u sure did a lot of looking, most people just go for the upped fsb in their bios or some programs in windows(i use nvidia system tools) will allow you to do that and ur gpu, and if your only going to 3.5 then you shouldn't need too much of that stuff

The multiplier 20 is known to be unstable from what I have read.
But anyways you won't have any stability issues until and unless you do not provide ample Vcore.
I think you should up the Vcore to 1.3 and if a stable overclock is achieved then keep bringing it down to lowest Vcore possible at which it is stable.

DO NOT OVERCLOCK ON THE FACTORY HSF.Even though 3.5 isin't something that the HSF might not be able to handle given that you have a normal chip but avoid overclocking on the factory HSF.

Enable LLC.
Also set PLL o 1.88 and if stable then bring it down to 1.80.

You can also use BCLK 170 and Multiplier - 21
As far as memory is concerned,I like to keep mine at 1.66V 1600MHz 8-8-8-24.
But I have a different set of RAM.

question concerning factory HSF

What is the FACTORY HSF
thanks the noob.:) How do I raise the qpi?
Whould someone post their settings for 3.8Ghz and 4.0Ghz
thanks again the noob.
