need help overclocking

Just built this system about 2 weeks ago and now im wanting to overclock the ram and cpu... i went into the bios to learn a few things, went into cpu settings and could only find ram settings it seemed that the cpu was locked and couldnt be overlcoked...

ive never overclocke'd before so i may be making a mistake... could i have some help overlocking please

its the system in my signature, is the mobo ok for overclocking the cpu

if so does anybody know how to do it?

sorry for the noob questions, but i do need help with this i was hoping to overclock to 2.4GHz or more and i have heatspreaders on the ram so overlocking that to

have you read OC101 yet? The locked thing is probably the multiplier, which is suppose to be locked for the X2's. I'm dont know that much bout OCing but i know you have to raise the fsb, and do it little at a time. And makesure your HTT doesn't go that high.
