Need help picking a desktop

So with that one you linked, I'd have to get a AMD CPU right?

yes, a phenom 960t or a 975 are my recomendations, the newer am3+ cpus out right now perform worse clock for clock, so if both are at 3ghz these beat them, only advantage of them is overclocking, but you can overclock the others too.

Okay so if I would start with this as my motherboard, what should I do to start finding the rest of the parts to go along? Is there a processor you'd recommend with this as well?

Do you think my ~$700 budget would be able to get everything needed to max the settings of SWTOR(MMO, but the graphics are considerably more demanding than WoWs or any others I've played so far).

Unless you plan on running Crossfire or SLI, get this board and it will save you 40 bucks right off, plus it has 10% of that to.
