Need help picking a new Laptop

Hello, Im looking to buy a laptop real soon but not sure what to get. Im willimg to spend around $1500 and want to get the best for my dollar. I would like something that is good for doing ofice work but also good at allowing me to play my games and copy DVD. Any suggestions?
 
What are your preferences? Screen size, widescreen or normal ratio, glossy or matte, etc. That'll determine what may actually like.
 
Well I was looking for something with a big screen preferably about a 17 " that would also be good for me to watch DVD's and play my games when I travel
 
Yup the ZD8000 is a great choice. A bit heavy, but most affordable 17inchers are. Another noteable mention is the Asus Z83V, a very good screen- perfect for movie watching or gaming on it's x700.
