Need help picking a router

hey, well its time for my house to use wireless...though my router is very very old. (Dlink 524) i have been trying to find a router but i dont know what to look for and also which one to get

we got a laptop, which is be aroound 50-100m away from the router....we also got 4 computer (so all ports 4 are used)

well can someone help me find one? recommanded sites:

However, 50-100 meters might be pushin it. I would actually get 2 routers and extend your wireless that way.

Have you tried talking to your ISP?
If you have been with them for awhile they may provide you with a router to keep you onside as there is a recession and it will be compatable with your o/s and come with a cd with all the drivers you need
