For a gaming computer, don't buy a Dell. They'll rip you off by skimping on parts you need, especially in the video card department. They may have cheap prices but that's because the computers are crap. Their only decent computers are their gaming computers but they'll charge you $3000-$5000 for one of those. I would recommend buying from a company that builds computers geared more towards gaming. A good, cheap example of such a site would be http://www.ibuypower.com

Otherwise, you could always build it yourself and get more for your buck.

What is your current computer(as far as u know)...
What games do you currently play and which ones would you like to eventually play ?

What parts do you need besides the tower.... speakers, mouse, keyboard, monitor ? What about the operating system(usually windows), do you have one or do you need to buy one too?

didnt know dell were that bad.thanks for the links but im not after top of the line gaming computer more like age of empires 3 and better (mine computer wont play it or it just gets laggy)but i did buy it a long time ago i guess things have moved on alot since then

2.39GHz,512MB of Ram as for the make im not sure it was a present but its a dell intel celeron thats all i know

i would need mouse monitor(doesnt have to be flat screen) speakers(with subwoofer)keyboard and vista
