Need help please! :(

Heyy, ok here it goes

I'm with AOL and i've phoned them up about this, but they dont really help much, so its like i have ADSL and if i leave it on all day and when i decide to download something from Azureus, i download it and then when i Disconnect it takes a really long time to disconnect, then i go to turn my computer (or restart) and when it says "saving settings" it just freezes from there :| :( and doesnt turn off at all so please can anyone help me!! :(, thanks.
 
I think it's something to do with the computer. Your internet connection shouldn't do anything to your computer unless there's a virus on it have you scanned it for viruses yet?
 
Hey I have that problem, I think it may be because there is a AOL.dial thing that is unresponsive so what you need to do I think is do ctrl+alt+del and shut all the running programs down, do a disk cleanup maybe. I still haent solved it myself yet but it is caused by AOL.
 
but i use the AOL Dailier because i hate the software thingy that you always have to have it minimized to stay on the net :(. I WANT CABLE !! but cant get it in my area :( lol ah well.
 
I see your a little trapped. Can't get cable...that sucks. I was gonna suggest cable with Ntl (they're great). You could try satellite connection, they're bound to be available in your area :P
