Ok so I ordered a seagate HDD momentus XT 500gb and i would like to know can i use it for my desktop? i believed this hard drive is for laptop. aslo, my new build desktop is mess up so bad, I don't even know what happen to it. if i keep it on they work just fine, but if I shut it down then I can't turn it back on unless I have to shutdown and unplug the power cable. if I don't do that when I turn on the computer they will automatic restart when they get to the part "log in". It happen two day in a row..
NEED help..... please...

The hard drive you chose fits on your desktop when it is new and has S-ATA ports
the second part with your ON-OFF issues is rare for me and i sadly dont know whats wrong...

The seagate drive you ordered is for a laptop which is a 2.5" inch drive not a 3.5" drive. You'll need a 3.5" to 2.5" converter for it to fit in your desktop hdd slot.
