Need help pricing an old laptop

I'm planning on selling my nearly 4 year old laptop and buy a new desktop instead and was wondering if anyone could estimate what price would be reasonable to ask for.

Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo D
P4 2.2 GHz
512 MB Ram
60 GB harddrive
CD-R writer/DVD combo drive
WinXP Home, MsWorks, there was probably some other software as well that was included.
Bunch of ports of course, LPT, serial, 2xUSB, FireWire etc.

Modem and network card are integrated but they don't work after a thunderstorm a couple of years ago so I've got a pcmcia card instead for the network. Besides from that it's all been working good. I paid nearly 2500 euros for this one when I bought it but I know the prices have dropped a lot since so any price estimations would be very appreciated.

He said 2500 euros so it must been top of the line when he got it

Yea considering id expect a low to mid-mid end computer to have that now it must of been expensive 4 years ago.

My laptop is just as good as that thing(well the turion is better) and i bought it in Nov and i dont have a Cd writer or firewire

It was so new when I bought it that no one of the computer salespeople I talked to around here had even heard of it. I bought it from another country instead cause I didn't want to wait six months to get it and I wouldn't settle for anything else. It was well worth it though.

The battery isn't really that bad yet, still runs on it for almost an hour. I see it's good I asked about the price though, seems to be a little less than I would've guessed. Thanks for the help everyone.

$400 USD. But it must have bad battery life, with a P4.

Oh, yeah I saw your post. Almost an hour isn't very good. My PIII 1GHz runs from 1.5-3 hours, and that is still not great (because it uses a desktop processor)

I would say around $450.

And as you said, an hour isnt good, thats how long my old celeron D lappy lasted me. My other laptop got an average of 5 hours.
