Straight to the point. Im buying a new computer and i want to make sure everything is compatible and works properly. And its all the components i need for a new build. ( My 2nd build sorry for noobie question )

where are you buying this from and for what? many of those things are most likely pure overkill for any and everything you plan to do.
 
looks absolutly solid to me, other than you may want to get a 1tb hdd for storage.

Also what is your psu? i presume its a good make but no harm in checking.

Its a BFG EX Series 1000w.

Also scratch that title. I need help in general. I was to afraid to make the purchase that day w/o help from you guys. As the SSD should even do that. I heard they are pretty unreliable. I was looking at the kingston hyperX ssd's those any good?
 
Oh, and am i wasting unnecessary money here?

Heres my current build.

Proccesor - QX6850 Intel Extreme

Video - GTX 295

RAM - 8GB DDR2 800MHZ

Motherboard - Evga 780i sli

I currently can't run BF3 on the highest settings which gets me really frustrated. I can run it on medium w/o any problems. If i put it on high i can occasionally lag when lots of explosions are going around.

Anyways what i want is, a computer that will run games on the highest settings at least for a year and a half from now. ( I can always upgrade the graphics card after)

well that stuff is a little on the dated side, and that gpu isn't really that fast compared to the newer high end ones.
 
I'm no expert but it seems as though you want this for gaming so there's no need for a 1000 dollar hex (12 with HT) core processor unless you are running HEAVILY multithreaded applications which I'm assuming you aren't from your posts. It seems you mainly want a gaming PC, the difference between your CPU and a 2500k/2600k when it comes to gaming would be nothing. Assuming you want to spend the same amount of money which really isn't necessary for your needs.

You could get this combo which would be able to play almost any game on the highest setting for more than the next year and a half: (They're are only the main components)

Originally your Mobo/CPU/GPU combo would cost around $1800

What I recommended costs about 1150 (just these components) and gaming wise would be faster than your original build. You could even go for a 3GB GTX 580 and still be fine for Bf3 amongst many other games.

Now, I don't know you nor do I know what you intend to do with your machine. If you plan to do some crazy high resolution 3D renderings or video editing, sure go for your original build as it really is an amazing build that is extremely powerful. From your posts though it seems you're more focused on gaming/virtually no video editing/rendering etc. and in which case getting the combo I suggested will give you better performance at a lower price in games.

I'm rambling, yes your build is compatible.

PS: A friend of mine was similar to you, he was tired with his slow computer/performance in games ended up buying a 500 dollar graphics card to play WoW and Counter Strike Source (OVERKILL)... You'd be surprised at how powerful high end graphics cards are becoming
