Need Help/Review

I'm planning to build my own rig and I just want to make sure all of these parts will work together before I purchase them. I'm fairly sure they will but if someone could review this list and give me their opinion... Here's what I have:

CPU: AMD FD6300WMHKBOX FX-6300 6-Core Processor Black Edition

Motherboard: ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0 AM3+ AMD 970 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard

CPU: OK but consider either FX-4300 (and upgrade later to FX-83XX) or buy FX-83XX right away (FX_83XX = FX-8320, FX-8320e, FX-8350 or FX-8370e).
Motherboard: I recommend at least Asus M5A97, or much better M5A97 Evo.
Case: OK
Graphics Card: What is that? You will want to know exact model.
Wifi Card: Looks good
RAM: CPU supports DDR3-1866 so that's better
Hard Drive: This is desktop machine, right? So buy 3,5 inch drive. I recommend getting 3.5 inch 1TB HDD and 2.5 inch SSD.
Media Card Reader: OK
Optical Drive: OK
Hot Swap Bay: In case you need that, OK.

So is this gaming machine? What is budget?
 
There's no reason to get a laptop drive for a desktop system, as stated. The flash portion of the SSHD is too small to make a decent impact and you'll be gimped by both the slower spindle speed (RPM) as well as the smaller platter size.

Otherwise sounds okayish assuming you clarify which video card that is (judging by 256 MB you really don't want that one to begin with).
 
The total budget is somewhere around $500 (it's a little flexible) and the monitor, keyboard, and mouse are not included in that number. I want to stay as low as I can on the case. I want this to be the best machine it can be for that number (fast, able to use the internet fast, able to do my coding, able to do downloaded and internet gaming as well), and quiet is a pretty important factor.

Is this all better?
 
That video card is ancient, and won't even fit into the PCIE slot on your board.

Why are you even bothering with something so old? The 9550 came out in 2004, and was even an entry level card when it was released..
 
Well the point is that I'm not an expert, so thank you for letting me know. Would this (below) be better, and also is the psu I chose in the last comment sufficient?

You mentioned gaming, what kind of gaming are we talking?
I wouldn't buy a 8400GS at this point, again release date 2007.

It's a complete waste to spend on a 750w PSU and then try to skimp the very most on the graphics card.
 
$70 max online games with 3d perspective, downloaded games with expansion packs like Sims 3, etc.
