yea im back with another problem...
so i took out my stock fan, and put in a new Hyper N520 i used xigmatek thermal paste.. i just installed the cpu fan earlier today.. and running the same programs that i normally run, my cpu has jumped 10C...
with the stock cooler -- averaging between 28-40C
with the N520-- 40-48C
i also have the AllCPU gadget running on my desktop.. and it says that im using about 60-95% of my cpu... but with my old stock cooler i was usually running between 30-75% of my cpu.. I am looking to OC a little bit, so thats why i bought the aftermarket cooler.
The big question is... Why in the $%&^ is this happening? do i just have to give the N520 some more time? or should i just take it back to the store and get another better cooler?
Rig setup is below so please help me out and i have a ThermalTake V4 chasis just for size measurements for the cooler..
Thanks much as always
