need help this will be quick!!!!!

ok ive been on these forums and reading and now im informed! Ok i just created my "system recovery" cd's and my friend has the "Microsoft windows xp pro" installation cd and now im ready to erase everything. i want to erase my c: and d: what do i need to do? please help!
 
Put the first system recovery CD in your drive and run it (I think it should load automatically once you put the CD in) and it should guide you through the format and reinstallation). It should have Windows included on it.
 
ok thats good now how about mic. office? will that be on it too? and anything else can be put on a flash drive then moved later right?
