Need help through CMD!!!!!!<<<<<<<<<<

Hello! i received a laptop from my school and i have one thing id like to change. When i close the laptop, it shuts down which i really hate and id much prefer it to go to sleep!

When i try any another way it talks about the admin crap, so there is no way out that i know of.

Unless you can through CMD?<<

Even if you issued the command, you'd need to do it as an administrator. If it's still owned by the school and you just use it, it's most likely against their policy for you to alter anything.

If they nno longer own it and you own it now, then your best bet is to wipe Windows and reinstall.

If the computer is on a Domain you will need to have permission to you account to alter does change!

If it's not and the computer belongs to you now, you can always try to do a password reset on the local admin account. You will need to use something like Hirens Boot to do so.

Again this is only if the computer belongs to you and is off the domain...
