need help to set up wireless internet

hey everyone...i got a d-link n wireless router. its all hooked up and workin fine. but... i have another computer in my house that does not have internet. it is a windows xp with the service pack 2. what do i do to get wireless internet on it. my ipod touch is able to get on the internet just fine. do i need anything to get this going. i have no clue what i am doing. i am a snowmobiler and just got back from a trip and the girl friend told me to get the other computer workin so any help would be great.
 
First off you need some sort of wireless receiver. You have the router but do you have the receiver? Most laptops have the wireless NIC card, some desktops do too.
 
you just need the internet modem, the wireless router, a wireless receiver for each computer that will connect to the internet wirelessly and then just just make sure the settings on the router match the settings on the computer that has the wireless receiver.
