Need Help Upgrading My Cpu

First off, I'd like to say that I'm new here. As of right now, I currently have this motherboard, http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c01386897&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=uk&prod uct=3692718&lang=en. And I would like to upgrade to this processor, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819115059. According to the motherboard site, all the specs line up, but I'm still cautious because I can't refund the processor if it doesn't work. Will I be able to upgrade to this processor? And what is the difference between Wolfdale and Wolfdale-m? Thanks in advance.

Edit: I just read somewhere that I just need to update my bios to the latest version so it can support 45nm. Is this true and if so where can I find the latest bios update?

Edit x2: I also just read that if I got the latest bios update it could support the e8xxx series. Is this also true?
