Ok first off i'm not the greatest with computers but I can usually do ok so bear with me :o. This hard drive I have is throwing me off. My girlfriend has an old laptop that she thinks has pictures of her grandfather who passed away not to long ago and would like to get them off the hard drive (laptop is dead) so I figured I could do that with a cable attached to the hard drive. Problem is I can't figure out what cable to use??? The hard drive is an IBM Model: IC25N030ATCS04-0. Anything else I may need to know? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Thanks :good:,

John

That should be an IDE drive, it looks like there is a broken connector on it, perhaps an IDE cable with the ribbon cable ripped off.

Just check to make sure that there isn't an OEM adapter attached to the pins. On most there were. Whats the view from the top and front look like?
