Need HELP with a new modem

Ok here in australia I am currently on a standard ADSL2+ connection and I am looking at buying a new modem. I just dont know which one is good. I was looking at the Billion BiPAC 7404VNOX but I dont know if its good or not and its a little over my price range. I play a decent amount of games and would like a great connection too. So if you know of any modems or modem routers that are preferably not over $300 AUD. Give me a few ideas.

hmm, didn't see that. still, it was only an example. see if you can find any new models like that ;)
