Need help with an old pda.

My friend cleaned out his room and found a Zire Palm m150 PDA. He gave it to me because he thought it as broken. I plugged it into a USB wall charger and after a few hours it turned on. I asked him if he wanted it back, but after seeing that it has only 2 mb of memory he said "I'll pass." So now I try to get it to work and it wont go passed the set up screen. The stylus wont do any thing, neither will a little pressure from my finger. Is is officially a piece of junk, or am I doing something (not so obviously) wrong?

I'm not familiar with the product, but a little Googling found a possible solution...

From http://www.ehow.com/how_5132725_reset-zire.html
If your Palm Zire 72 is no longer responsive to user input, a "soft" reset may put it back in working order. The Zire features an internal reset button, set inside the device's casing, to prevent accidental activation; although you will be unable to access the button directly, your Zire 72's stylus will serve as an ideal tool for this purpose. Soft resets present little risk to stored data; your contact information and notes will be saved, but you may need to reconfigure certain settings (such as date and time) afterward.
Instructions
Things You'll Need:

* Paper clip (optional)

1.
Step 1

Remove the stylus from its holder (located on the right side of the device).
2.
Step 2

Turn the Zire 72 over and examine its rear panel. Locate the small hole in the casing, near the right edge.
3.
Step 3

Insert the tip of the stylus into the hole.
4.
Step 4

Apply firm pressure to the stylus until you feel the device's internal reset button depress; remove the tip of the stylus from the hole.
5.
Step 5

Return the Zire to its upright position and examine the display screen to confirm whether the reset procedure was successful; if
necessary, correct the device's date and time settings when prompted.

Thanks, but those instructions are for the zire 72, which is a later edition of my model.
Thanks anyways.

Sorry, must have overlooked that. To "hard reset" a Palm M150, press and hold power, tap reset, keep holding power until the Palm logo shows up on the screen. Let us know if that does anything.

I would just junk the thing they are old and really have no purpse any more every one uses their cell phones to hold this information now.

Sorry if I souded a bit rude I didnt know how to say it
