need help with boot error

hi
last night i turn off my computer opened it up and replaced the disc tray as the old one was faluty then i tryed to boot and i am geting errors that read(ram parity error-checking for segment... offending segment:0000
press F1 to disable nmi,f2 to reboot)

non of these work f1 just asks for the system disk(dont have one)

i also noticed somthing different when i went into standard cmos setup
c: drive is no longer listed i have tryed unplug and plug back in but its not there.
plese help me

Check all your cable connections again. Your hard drive seems to be IDE and not SATA. Most likely you knocked the cable loose when installing the new cdrom drive. If the hard drive and cdrom is on same IDE ribbon cable make sure the new cdrom drive is jumpered the same as the old one.
 
yeah i tryed that several times before writing this thread. did not work i now have my old cd tray pluged in again still dont work.
should i try different cables or somthing
 
Remove and reinsert your memory sticks. You can try a different cable and see if that changes anything.
