Need help with build

Hi everyone, my name is Tareq and I am a complete noob in the PC world. Like, an utter noob. All I know is a bit about GFX, that the 980Ti is the best and the 970 is best bang for the buck. I have been looking at other builds on the internet to try and copy some of them. The games I play are League of Legends and CSGO. I plan on playing the Division and Hitman in the near future. Also I want a PC that doesn't go outdated in a year or two. I still want the ability to play future games. Now I am not looking for 4K gaming or the oculus rift thing. Just a good setup to be able to play most of games out there. This is a setup I am thinking of finalizing, still needs a PS, monitor and keyboard. Pls suggest what I should get for the missing parts. If you think I should change any of the parts listed to better ones, pls let me know.
PS: I want the build to be extremely safe. Like, I want it to last 3-4 years before I upgrade.

Greetings,

That isn't a bad build, what did you have in mind for power? Are you specifically targeting around ~$1000 for budget?

I'd personally get a wifi adapter that is AC capable. Bit more $ but better card. I use an Intel 7260 pcie adapter.

the Asus PCE-AC68 is an excellent one also.

As for PSU.. Corsair is my preferred brand, and modular or fully modular is ideal, as for wattage.. probably recommend a 550W minimum, depending on which GPU you decide on and whether you may upgrade to a second card, or may pick a more powerful single card than the 970.

EDIT: I use a corsair cx850M in my signatures PC below.. but its definitely overkill, I just got it on deal, and might add another card.

In my other rig, i grabbed a Corsair RM650x and it is a seriously great, quiet, stable unit!!

Also, at Newegg there is a deal on Gskill DDR4 2x8GB kit on Ripjaws V for $57 and an additional 10% off.. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820232173
