Need help with Capturing/snapshot/DVD...

My Tv has a built-in VHS and DVD and I wish to capture whatever is showing on the TV screen whether it be regular TV, VHS or DVD that is playing and also I wish to capture video on my pc taken with my Canon Digicam, also wish to view all of these sources on my pc then wish to burn to DVD and also take some snapshots which I will use in a slideshow and make prints too.

When I connect my digicam to and show the video on my TV, it is very clean and sharp but when I watch the video on my pc via a Tuner card, there is a very considerable loss of quality and when I take snapshots or capture images, the pics are even more blurry. I did this capturing with a cheap card [WinTVgo-FM]from Hauppauge, I called up Hauppauge and they told me that since I get the blurriness and some "lines" only when I freeze the video or when I take snapshots that this might be an "overlay" problem and so I should try updating my video drivers but this does not help.

I would like to know a couple of things please:
1] Seeing that I don't have a separate Video card and only have the integrated one that comes with my Dell pc, will I get the same blurriness and lines no matter which TV Tuner card I should use?

2] If no to the above question, then what are my options here? I have only 1 available PCI slot so I can't install both a separate Video card and a TV Tuner or capturing card.

I don't have much money but I would like to know what is the cheapest good option I have please and any particular Brand/model referrals would be great, anyone? Thanks.

I guess this might be an easier way to put this? Is there a "combined" Graphics and TV Tuner card out there? If so, which would be the cheapest good one?

Thanks, I've done a lot of researching since my post here and most recommend either the 9800 Pro or 9800 SE, problem is, I can't find anyone who actually has any of those and have done snapshots to confirm that it works effectively and since I can't afford one that's new, I have to be sure it will work becuse I won't be able to return it.

If you mean the 9800Pro AIW (or 9600Pro AIW for that matter) I can confirm they do the job competently ... naturally a high end premium dedicated capture card is superior and you also have to cut your expecations in half because TV is really crappy to start with (and with video stuff, crap in = crap out) but otherwise, it does a decent shot. For an all-in-one solution, the card does it's job in a mostly-normal manner :)

Thanks for the referral, the more research I do the more confusing this gets, 2 issues:

1] I came across one thread which stated that All in wonder cards have problems with "Drivers", this the thread, can anyone comment on this please?

http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/showthread.php?t=47766

2] Then I read on another forum where someone said that where the snapshot is concerned, it does not matter which Hardware card you use, he says it the "software" that makes the difference and he uses Pinnacle. Here is the thread

http://forum.videohelp.com/viewtopic.php?t=279946&highlight=snapshots

I am thinking that if I were to get a dedicated separate video card then when I take the snapshot it should look better than what I have right now but after seeing what is in that link above I have to wonder? What do you guys think?
