Hi everyone.

I need to upgrade my video card so that I can play a new game I purchased but I'm not sure what the motherboard can handle. The minimum requirements for a video card are as follows from the game package:
128MB Hardware Accelerated Video Card with Shader 1 support and latest drivers.

The card that I currently have on my system is an older 64MB Geforce 4. The motherboard is one of the Intel 845 series models but I'm not sure which one. Could I use a 128MB video card with this motherboard?

Thanks.

Look on the inside of the case, does it have an AGP slot or only PCI?

It seems that it is AGP, post the rest of your specs, it may be a bottleneck to upgrade the graphics card in your PC.... Also which game is this?

It's an AGP slot. The game is Medieval II Total War.

The computer is a HP Pavillion 750n with a 1.6 Pentium 4 and 512MB of RAM. I went ahead and installed a 256MB ATI Radeon 9550 video card so the problem of not being able to run the game is solved. On the other hand, I'm going to have upgrade my RAM. The minimum requirement for the game is 512MB and that's what I have on the system. I can go up to 1GB so I might as well get that done when I'm able.
