need help with hard drive sharing over wireless network

I need to get my hard drives on my desktop to be shared over my network to my laptop. The desktop has XP Pro and the laptop has Vista. I can get the drives to show up in "MY Network Places" on the desktop but I cant get those drives to show up in "Network and Sharing Center" on the laptop. I have turned off the firewalls on both computer and it still no luck.:confused::confused:

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
 
care fully chose the type of connection type... i think its public
check wethr the drives u want to share have been marked shared...
secondly check ur firewall settings....
