I just build my computer and when i first started it up the bios would come up for about 3-5 seconds and then the computer would restart. I had to hold in the del key in order to enter the bios and i had to continue to hold in the delete key in order to do anything in the bios. i eventauly got windows 7 home premium installed and went straight to installing the mobo drivers because i thought that was the problem. after installing the drivers and rebooting still same problem. so i checked my bios version and got the newest version and all the drivers. still same problem exept now it wont even let me into the bios atall it just keeps on its loop. when i unplug my usb keyboard and plug in my PS/2 keyboard and turn the system off and restart then everything works properly but when the usb keyboard is pluged in it goes to the loop.

Computer Specs

i just tryed all of my usb ports exept my 3.0's same thing. i completely unpluged all keyboard's and it told me no keyboard was pluged in and continued to start up normaly.

i dont a a ps2-usb adapter but i will check my local computer shop (smal town dought they will have one) and i will check with my schools tech people and my windows 7 is 100% up to date and when i go into my bios my keyboard is counted as 2 keyboards and i havent figured out how to disable one of them because i think its detecting the programable keys as a seperate keyboard.

By the sounds of it, i think its your keyboard as you have guessed do what cabinfever has suggested :) good luck!
