Need help with monitor...

hey guys, I wanna buy my cousin a samsung monitor, but I'm buying it in canada where power is 110 and I'm taking it to Europe to him where the power is 220. So I was thinking can I just get european power cable and hook it up there ? Will the monitor still work on 220 power or is it a no go ?

also what;s the difference between the same model monitor but a different size ? is it just the size ?

if you hook it up it is GONNA BURN DOWN IMMEDIATELLY and then your cute cousin has to buy a new one.
buy a power transformer.it's easy to find.
