Need Help with new 4850x2 from anyone else with this card.

Okay, I just got this card yesterday, and I am wondering if anyone can help me optimize the card so it will run as well as it possibly can. Also should I enable Crossfire or no? I am confused with this because it is 2 gpus in one.

there shouldnt be any optimizations, besides overclocking (lol you dont need it) and a brand new set of drivers. i wouldnt even bother popping in the CD that the card came with, its probably older then hell. oh and no crossfire is not necessary only enable that if you get another 4850x2.

You will need the 8.12 with hotfix or the new 9.2's. There shouldn't be a enable crossfire feature available in your CCC. If there is something is wrong. The card uses both GPUS without changing any setting. If you want to disable one of the GPUs you go into CCC and Disable Catalyst Ai.
 
in games and whatnot you dont have to have crossfire or SLI to have the option, in COD4 it asks me if i want to enable SLI for my 8800gt.
 
I ended up returning this card. I preformed worse than my single 4850. I got the GTX 280 instead and it is running amazing. I love this card.
