Need Help With OvErClocK

ok i changed it to 148 and it whent untill the boot screen with the loading bar and then restarted ..... i looked at PC Health Status and it has an Vcore and its setted to 1.45V
but i cant change it is just to view it :/....
 
It's restarting prolly cause it doesn't have enough power, thats how mine is( I can't change the vcore in bios etheir) when i get it to like 190fsb it does exactly what your is doing , you'll have to flash the bios if there is even a bios that lets you change the vcore for your motherboard , i have the best bios on mine and it only lets me change the FSB
 
can some1 give me that link with the zip and the directions on how to flash the bios ???
and do i need a floppy disk ?? :o
 
You can do it with a CD , goto bootdisk.com and they'll tell you how , and to find a update just goto google and type your mobo in and put like bios update , but still there's a chance the new bios won't let you do it etheir , and it could mess the flash chip up on your mobo and render it unuseable...
 
so maybe even after the flash.. the option to give more voltz not be there ? so i guess a new motherboard that has many options for overclocking itwould be a solution
 
then i tried 134/33mhz and it said 2.8 then i tried 148/37mhz and the pc wasnt booting to windows screen... so what shall i do?? more voltage? "and how" and how much?

See OC 101 for "how to OC". Regardless, sounds like you may have run into locks ... does your motherboard have PCI/AGP locks?

i know man.. but i already read that overclocking 101 many times and i will again

mutliplier (locked at 21) that is setted deafult on my pc or i must change it ?
and when i set it to 148 the pc doesnt start ... so i have to give more voltage.. as i said in post #12 so ... what shall i do ? :/

Ok so what do we know:
1. Your Multiplier is locked
2. Your vCore is locked
3. I suspect you have nonexistent PCI/AGP locks
Thus we can conclude, you wont be able to OC past your current boundary

so maybe even after the flash.. the option to give more voltz not be there ? so i guess a new motherboard that has many options for overclocking itwould be a solution

Its doubtful the flash will give you more OCing options as thats something that's added in at the very beginning of when they make the BIOS
