Need help with RAM

Well I recently decided to buy a new computer and started with only 2GB RAM. Now I want to upgrade to 4GB and I'm not sure if this will work or will do me any better. Right now my RAM is 2x1GB Elpida DDR2 PC2-6400 U-DIMM 800Mhz AUR, 750I Memory (Reference to my mobo as stated by the invoice). What I'm planning to do is buy another 2x1GB set of the same Elpidas and use all 4 slots on the mobo to be 4x1GB. Now basically the question is, will I run into any problems and is it better to use all 4 slots?

You'll have no issues, unless you get some bad memory.

It's no better or worse to use half or all of the slots.

It's just like asking if your car will run better with half
a tank of gas compared to a full tank. :)

couldnt have said it better than bodaggit. But unless you run 64 bit OS you wont end up using all 4 GB
