Need Help With Some Problems

Yeah I thought as much since they didnt even move lol..

I have never seen those software solutions give a true result.

I would test the PSU under full load with a PSU. Look at the 12V rail and ensure it is within spec.

If so, then update to Windows 7 as Vista is a dog.

often enough, desktop motherboards may or may not support hibernation, i had no issues running hibernation on my nforce 750 board but my new AMD 890G will make windows get really angry if i wake it up from hibernation, SLEEP works fine tho. id just disable hibernation and sleep it if i were in your shoes, it wakes up faster out of sleep vs hibernate anyway. however if i didnt care about loading programs id just shut the thing down every time. less muss, less fuss.

also agree with cardboard, the psu might be strained and feeling the pressure of the two graphics cards, i think that may be your issue, it might have alot of overhead for one of your cards, but two it just may not handle at all.

I really hope not... I was advised to get the TX650 awhile ago with the mind of running two 4890 which by my research draw alot more power than 6850's?

Well after my testing (swapping cards in and out) it seemed to fix the problem for a while but the whole split screen thing came back again last night...

I havent done the driver thing or anything yet... Im getting a SSD in a few days so a fresh install will be in order... Ill try a few things then...

Is there anyway to accurately tell if the PSU is the problem?

Also... If it is my PSU... Im pretty sure it has a 5 year warranty so I could return it? I looked at it online and it said SLI certified so wouldnt that mean that it has to run crossfire/sli?

If I wanted to return it how would I be able to prove that it wasnt functioning properly? Do they have tests at the RMA place or something?

If you were having issues just running IE, then it's probably not a PSU problem. ;) I guess my best advice would be to do go through with that clean install on your new SSD, and if you're still having issues, to try underclocking. ;)

Well I havent had the IE thing again... That was weird...

Im so confused... Cause its all scoring good scores (well the same) in 3dmark Vantage right... As in each card on their own score the same, and it scores the same as when I first got them in crossfire with no issues...

But Im still getting that split screen thing in crossfire... And when i turn crossfire off and play a game it just seems to be running like ass... Like I recently purchased the Hitman Bloodmoney game off steam... And I was playing that last night with crossfire off and it was still running like ass, laggy, stuttered a bit etc... And that game looks far from demanding especially since the 6850 alone isnt that bad of a card you know...

So Im worried that even if there is a problem how can I prove it to RMA them...

Ill do the fresh install and get back to you all... I really hope its just a corrupt file somewhere lol.

Yep, I can feel for ya if it's a corrupt file.;) I spent months with my laptop wondering why I would get random 100% CPU usage and blue screens.

Then I ran an HDtune sector scan.
