PC3200 memory would see the best performance on this model. The specifications seen at http://www.macuniverse.com/pdf/sony_rs630G.pdf can help you on other things as well. The difference between 3200, 2700, and 2100 are the different speeds the memory operates at. With a system board having a 400mhz front side bus like the Sony model you have there you would want the DDR400 PC3200 model dimms to get the most out of the system. The PC2700 memory would require backing down to if not auto backclocking the memory timings down to 333mhz. The PC2100 would see 266mhz.

Welcome junwang0808. You'll learn alot from this forum, I know I did.

Whenever you are in doubt about what a system or even a board for a custom built case will take often you can find info on the hardware when price comparisons are made at different vendors or going to the manufacturer's site to get product details. I simply run a search on a model system whether Sony or another make and find several links usually a vendor or price comparison link along with one or more reviews and even a support link. There are tools to use when you want get your hands on product information. Here we simply try to point you to the correct sites when possible. In this field there are always some newer hardwares so learning a new lesson is more common then you think. :)
