Need help with wireless connection!

ok so ive got a Gateway DX4200 with some personal additions to it. And i use a wireless adapter to connect to the internet and i never had any problems with the internet before until about 2-3 months ago. And for some reason the internet just stopped working one day and i have no clue why. My ps3 connectoin still works my dads connection still works but not mine??? Ive used 2 different routers and 2 different adapters but still no internet. The only problem i can see is that in the control pannel for the adapter it does not receive the ip address. So if anyone can give me some help it would be very much appreciated.

Also i have used an ethernet adapter kit and it still wont work. And the adapter that originally worked was a netgear adapter.

have you tried a wired connection?

if its having an ipconflict goto

start
run
type cmd
type ipconfig /release
type ipconfig /renew

that will give it a new ip address hope that helps

also have you checked your drivers?
mite be a glitch in that. if you updated it. have you tried to rollback?

far as netgear goes... it's no surprise but that a story for a different thread!
